- Tram 2000 - Published 10 times a year since 1981, Tram 2000 covers happenings in Belgium and beyond plus museum news for the Musée du Transport Urbain Bruxellois (MTUB). The website has an archive of photos of the week and a discussion forum. In French or Dutch (slightly less extensive).

- rapidtransit.net - a site for the study of the history, technology and politics of rail transit. Includes online editions of 'The Third Rail'
Worldwide
- Funimag - "The first Web Magazine about Funiculars" having been published roughly quarterly since January 1996. The site has the current and all back issues with each issue havingseveral feature articles (with photos) and a "just for fun" game usually based on a mystery photo. Other special features of the site include a comprehensive database of all funiculars in Switzerland (most with description pages containing technical details, maps, and photos), a summary of funicular manufacturers and suppliers, technical background on the different kinds of funiculars, and more. In English and French (less extensive).
- Railway Gazette International - Associated with the monthly magazine of the same name, the site includes international news on light rail, tram, and metro, and other rail systems together with summaries of features articles in the print edition. There's an archive dating back to 1998 (with earlier indices) plus conference and course schedules, company profiles, contracting and employment opportunities, and information about their other publications including the annual Metro Report (with progress reports from system operators as well as articles of technical, commercial and operational interest). In English with selected summaries in French, German, and Spanish.
