Miejskie Przedsiebiorstwo Komunikacyjne SA (MPK) who operate Krakow's trams has ordered 24 low-floor BOMBARDIER FLEXITY Classic trams from Bombardier Transportation.
The trams will be built, in conjunction with consortium partner Vossloh Kiepe, at Bombardier’s site in Bautzen, Germany.
The order is valued at approximately EUR 59 million of which EUR 40m is Bombardier's share. The first tram is scheduled to be delivered in March 2012.
