By Peter Waller Published by Graffeg Ltd. 2018

Cardiff:

Covering the evolution of the trams from horse cars through to the extensive electric network largely replaced by trolleybuses in the 1940s as the city grew to become the
nation’s capital.

North Wales:

The popular seaside resorts of Llandudno, Rhos-on-Sea and Colwyn Bay were linked by a charming electric tramway between 1907 and 1956 whose story this book sets out to
tell.

South wales and Valleys:

Trams were once an everyday sight on the streets of South Wales, and this book provides an insight into the daily lives of those in the communities they served, including
the industrial centres now vanished.

Swansea and Mumbles:

Swansea was home to the world’s frst passenger rail service in 1807; trams succeeded steam and the line was electrifed, when the largest double-deck cars in the UK provided
service until its closure in 1960.
