Published by Adam Gordon

Pure nostalgia from the last century! Album of bygone inner city street scenes showing the capital's trolleybuses in a variety of places they served for less than thirty years, on routes that emanated from Moorgate, Tottenham Court Road and Holborn Circus. The book takes readers from Moorgate via Hoxton to Highbury Corner from where it continues to Islington and back to Moorgate. It then traverses City Road to Islington and onto Kings Cross and Camden Road from where it passes through Mornington Crescent to get to Tottenham Court Road. It then tracks back to Highbury & Islington to follow the trolleybus wires to Holloway, Nags Head. From there the routes that ran along Caledonian Road are illustrated. On arrival at Kings Cross a circle is made via Grays Inn Road, Holborn, Charterhouse Street, Farringdon Road and back to Kings Cross where the book concludes. Included are 29 relevant tram photographs in this area. At 451 images this is the largest number of photographs that have ever been published in one London trolleybus book. There are also a number of traffic circular and paperwork items with a new concept being the inclusion of some war damage reports in various parts of Central London.
