Album of evocative views dating from 1969-1972 along the Belgian Vicinal tramline, marking 50 years since its closure, all with extended captions. The author first visited the line in 1969 and made several return trips to photograph the entire route, showing the variety of tram types operated and the lineside scenery. He covers the final day of operation in detail and the book includes several short features on aspects of this iconic route - possibly the last Vicinal line to embody the vast network's natural operating environment.
