The late photographer amassed a prolific range of tramway images, and this collection reflects his visits to the Scottish capital in 1951 - when the bulk of the system was still running - and in 1955, the year before its final closure. A fold-out map of the network by the legendary John Gillham is included.A loose-leaf track map drawn by master cartographer John Gillham is included, and this allows the reader to follow each route as the authors describe them.
